Recived the cycle in good time thanks to prime! Only Presently found when I opened the amazon box and felt that this is not the “Pro” clutches edition its the normal RGT FF CE. It works well for iracing and is a good flock for the product. I would recomend this for gamers alike myself that like to receive playfulness and are not super grave nearly the game. Buy a nice Logitech cycle6 for that. It does accept a routine to get utilised to since this is my first wheel since when they applied your mouse straped to the wheel. Whole in whole Im felicitous with it appears rugged and has worked well for me therefore far. Ive owned it for nigh 2 weeks.I own a business with 12 PC simulators in an LAN Thrustmaster Rally GT Force flowing Nascar Racing 2003 season, thus I’ve discovered lots of wheels in the lastly 5 years. Starting with the PROS: The price was good, solid feel, pedals are comfortably apart from each other, lots of force/resistance. CONS: noisy (squeaks), small diameter cycle and the mountain breaker *** The buttons cannot be assigned to keyboard commands *** There are alone drivers for windows, no literal programming software. I employed Saitek wheels (no longer available) for years, experience (2) Logitech G-25’s (not price effective) and have since struck on to the Logitech Driving Draw GT (Stellar Wheel). This cycle may be good for newer games that all the commands are not linked to keyboard strokes but doesn’t mold for my needs.

I employment this cycle for iRacing with my PC. It’s my first racing bicycle and first realistic racing sim. Cables drape down to the computer on the properly nicely without any sort of containment needed. I conceive the leather varies in quality, mine has a little twist to it on the left incline where my ovolo rests on the spoke, mayhap due to my early death-grip when getting used to the experience. I yet consider it’s acceptable.

The reason I’m writing this review is to save the young guys (like me) a little time by doing some additional set-up in the Logitech program. Logitech has a pre-set 200 level limit that imposes substantial resistance at 100 degrees off-of-center in either direction. The iRacing plan Logitech G27 Racing Wheel calibrates to this limit instead of the 900 grade go that the cycle7 is subject of. The upshot is that the game interprets the first0 90 degrees off-of-center correctly, then tries to squeeze the remaining pointing go (about a full rotation) into the finally 10 degrees ahead striking Logitech’s 100 degree stop. The consequence of this “mis-calibration” is a consummate loss of movement tire traction whenever you away past 90 degrees and the wheels jerk to full-lock. This is corrected through the Logitech settings, not within the game. I’m not surely if it will be a trouble with other games, I haven’t discovered it observed in any other reviews.

I haven’t had any actual problems with the G27 in the first0 three months and am having a blast improving my driving and learning to race in the simulator. I highly recomend this for anyone who is enthusiastic almost race cars and wants to drive a “realistic” simulation.
