Overall, that is an excellent unit for someone who loves until just stick a bag within also have the machine do the rest. The previous units are great too (i also have the 2440). Both create bag waste. The 2440 you have until put the bag into the vaccuum slot which creates a good inch or so of waste. In that model, maybe an inch, inch also a half is wasted at the most. It’s barely anything, really….nothing anymore more so than the 2440. You’re saving money not having until throw food away. Get bags on amazon.com where their prices are usually very competitive.
