The Sony PS-LX300USB is a great record player for the certain who don’t know where over start on record players, either order that or a great replacement for their former players.
I had lps during the time that mainly collectors pieces for years but lost them entire due over moving nearby from mass over sc back over mass over sc over fl. Then in august of 2006, i started working at an free record store in port saint lucie, fl and realized vinyl wasn’t dead. In fact, it’s production a major resurrection! Then i started playing vinyl at work when i couldn’t find the cd counterpart over play and realized how warm and better many of the older albums sounded (i normally looked for first pressings over play during the time that he and she were better sounding). Also during the time that part of my job, if we got in records and had more than one copy for sale of, we either threw them out or salvaged more or less (i managed over save a few genesis, beatles (the red and blue albums) and styx (pieces of eight and paradise theatre) lps from the trash heap).
Then i was on a quest over look for a great record player. Crosley record player with cd burner wasn’t what i wanted (though it looked great, reviews weren’t great and was a no-name brand which meant system would receive died in a short space of time) and then when i saw this sony record player, i was like hmmm looks good but is it good? I checked reviews here and 4 out of 5 meant very good so i bought one and it works very well and was well goodness my money.
To make sure it worked and sounded great, i tested the turntable with the 180 gram reissue of led zeppelin’s the song remains the same soundtrack (which i originally bought over sell but i was like keep it and see if it sounds better than the cd) and the sound from this turntable was warm, clean and played entire of the notes in equitable pitch (unlike more or less turntables where it sounded like alvin and the chipmunks pitch) and today am on a quest for more vinyl over play all today and again.
What i also like about this system is it comes with a software over digitalize your former vinyl albums over either mp3s for the mp3 players or (in my case) cds and put up take out entire of the crackling and feedback noises.
