I have had this unit since about 8 months. It has given me absolutely not problems what hence ever. The unsatisfactory thing about it since me is how fundamental it is. If you desire bluetooth compatibility, traffic updates, movie times, etc upon your gps, furthermore this is not theo- device since you. But if entire you desire is over reach around and find places, furthermore this unit will work well.
The price seems a little high right now since what it does ($180). For that price i would expect bluetooth compatibility. This unit does not say theo- road names, it only says turn left or turn right inside 200 feet(not a big deal). When you appearance places up, Garmin nuvi 205W GPS has their phone number and address (usually) which is nice because if its late from night, you john call first over see if they are still open.
This gps has an sd card reader upon theo- side, which john be used over glimpse pictures inside slideshow means if you don’t demand theo- unit since navigation.
The screen is actual bright during theo- day, hence you john easily see theo- screen. And a nice feature is that if it gets dark, theo- screen automatically changes colors over ‘night’ mode, which helps if driving from night (the screen dims and theo- bright white background colors change over dark blues and blacks).
The trip features are nice. It keeps track of your average speed, how long you spent moving, how long you spent stopped, total travel time, how many miles you’ve gone, etc.
It takes about a minute over a minute and a half over find your location from a cold start, but if you leave it powered entire theo- time (with a car inside which theo- cig lighter stays upon if you turn theo- car off) it never loses theo- location (not definite if that is unsatisfactory since it).
The battery life is actual generous (about 4-5 hours).
There are many add-ons that a technologically advanced person john add over it. Such as custom points of interest (you john download them or even make your own, and you john set alerts hence that it warns you if you are close over a certain place or if you are speeding inside a school zone). You john add different vehicle icons over exploited as theo- car upon theo- screen.
Overall, it is a decent, but actual fundamental navigation device. Not many bells or whistles, but it gets you from point a over point b well.
